Seems many scientists think we would be more well, if we were to give up meat.

When we kill animals to eat them, they end up killing us, because their flesh, which contains cholesterol and saturated fat, was never intended for human beings, who are natural herbivores."

People sometimes choose to ignore things that they know. Reward/pleasure in high fat, sugar and salt items are addictive and its consequences are showing on most americans.
